Marie-Thérèse Chappaz, Jean-René Germanier, Martin Donatsch, Thomas Studach, Tom Litwan, Christian Zündel, Cantina Monti and Jacques Tatasciore have all received between 93 and 97 Parker points - a real first for Switzerland.

In its December 30, 2016 edition, distributed these days, the magazine Wine Advocate by Robert Parker published the second major report on Switzerland. Stephan Reinhardt has tasted a selection of about 200 wines "that have emerged on the occasion of his various journeys – a non exhaustive list", as he explains in his introduction. Among these 200 wines Reinhardt has retained 153, which were rated in the 228th issue of the magazine "Wine Advocate". Among these wines no less than 90 received more than 90 points - which is to date the best result obtained by Swiss wines in this very critical review.

The wines come from all six Swiss wine regions.  The most noted cellars by Reinhardt are Marie-Thérèse Chappaz, Jean-René Germanier and Christian Zündel.

In addition, the Robert Parker team is announcing the premiere of the event  « A Matter of Taste » dedicated to fine wines, which will take place in Zurich on February 4 and 5, 2017. On this occasion two Master Classes entitled "The Best of Switzerland " Part 1 and 2 led by Stephan Reinhardt will be organized and the 30 Swiss winemakers and wines with 90 points or more will be presented.
